Motorsport at historic Aintree

Come along to Aintree to see a round of Liverpool Motor Club's award winning Sprint Championship.

It's an exciting time trial event on the famous Aintree Motor Racing Circuit where in 1955 Stirling Moss became the first British driver to win a Grand Prix in Britain driving British car.

Although Sir Stirling wont be there today, you will be able to watch a wide range of cars from ordinary road going cars right up to high powered single seat racing cars compete one at a time against the clock to see who can be fastest to complete just over a mile of the famous race track.

Will anyone beat the Track Record today? Who will be fastest through the speed trap? Will anyone exceed 170mph? Come along and find out!

Great atmosphere, friendly drivers. Admission for spectators is great value at only £5 per person. Accompanied children under 14 free. Free parking, free entry to paddock, and reasonably priced catering on site all day.

Come along & see what Club Motorsport is all about!

Gates open at 8am, first car leaves the start at around 9.45, and the event finishes around 5pm
